It was one of missions that was executed by Republic Operatives during the Cold War on Tatooine for GSI. GSI Animal Weaponization Division requested that someone collected fossilized krayt dragon eggs that they could clone the creature and test its ferocity in a controlled laboratory environment. They noted that the eggs could be found in the Dune Sea region near clusters of penakin larvae, which fed on the fossil's unique nutrients. The operatives travelled to the Dune Sea and reached the region known as Krayt Dragon Graveyard. There they searched for and found several clusters of larvae and, using their seeker droid, obained three fossilized eggs. The operatives brought eggs back to Anchorhead and received their payment.
