The A03.2 was the standard combat armor used by the various divisions of the Galactic Republic army during and after the Great Galactic War.
Typically painted blue and white, the basic kit consisted of a black jumpsuit and armor pieces that covered all parts of the body. The advanced kit included included a backpack and several extra armor elements - arm and elbow armor pads, knee and shin guards, shoulder shields and a heavy shell covering the wearer's chest and back. It was not uncommon to see a soldier wearing basic kit, but with a few pieces of advanced kit. To protect the head, soldiers were issued either light or standard TR2 modular helmet.
