    Arnus
Lieutenant, make yourself comfortable. On behalf of the Senate of the Galactic Republic, I want to thank you for appearing on such short notice for this informal inquiry.
    Meteor
    Just doing my duty, sir.
    Arnus
I assure you we will not hold you from your duties any longer than necessary, Lieutenant.
    Voralla
The purpose of this inquiry is to investigate the defection of several members of Republic Army Special Forces squad number 326, code named "Havoc Squad," to the Sith Empire.
    Arnus
Now, you recently served in Havoc Squad on Ord Mantell, Lieutenant. Is that correct?
    Voralla
We understand that your work requires a degree of secrecy, and I assure you nothing you say will leave this room. So please, answer truthfully.
    Meteor
    That's right, Senators.
    Arnus
While serving on Ord Mantell, all of the members of Havoc Squad, excluding yourself, defected to the Sith Empire. Is that correct?
    Meteor
Yes, Senator, my squad defected right in front of me.
    Arnus
Now, did Commander Tavus or any of the other members of Havoc Squad show signs of, say... instability? Anger? Frustration?
    Meteor
I don't believe there were any such signs, Senator.
    Arnus
Lieutenant, let us speak hypothetically: Do you believe that anyone serving on Ord Mantell should have seen this situation coming?
    Meteor
I don't think anyone could have seen this coming, sir.
    Arnus
Commander Tavus and the others must have been quite subtle indeed.
    Arnus
Yes, I see here that the man was demoted for his involvement in the incident... then placed under your own command? That's highly unusual. I have one final question, Lieutenant: What connection, if any, exists between the events that occurred on Ando Prime and Havoc Squad's decision to defect to-
    Voralla
Senator, I would remind you that the circumstances of Ando Prime are classified and occurred before the lieutenant's involvement in Havoc Squad. You may ignore that question, Lieutenant.
    Meteor
Tavus said the Republic left Havoc to die on Ando Prime. Is that true?
    Voralla
As I said, Lieutenant, that subject is classified. You needn't trouble yourself about it.
    Zorin Krasul
Your part in this inquiry is concluded. You may return to your duties now.
    Voralla
    Goodbye, Lieutenant.

Summary
After neutralizing a shipment of highly dangerous nerve gas that was being prepared for shipment to Tavus, Meteor contacted General Garza for further orders. Garza answered immediately and told Meteor that despite her best efforts, three members of the Senate Defense Committee have learned about Havoc Squad's defection, and they wanted to know the specifics. She was sure that the request would not remain informal if they refused to comply. She added that the Senators have asked that Meteor appeared in their office at the Senate tower immediately to testify in the inquiry, and although she was barred from influencing the testimony, she reminded that the more information became public, the harder their job would become. Meteor replied that it was their duty to provide accurate information to the Senate. Garza ordered to report immediately to the Senate and then return to her office without delay.
Meteor and Jorgan appeared before a Senate committee, composed of Senators Arnus, Voralla and Zorin Krasul. When Arnus asked if it was true that the rest of Havoc Squad had defected to the Sith Empire, Meteor truthfully admitted that. Arnus then asked if Harron Tavus and his cohorts showed any signs of instability or frustration before defecting. When Meteor answered that they were subtle about it and no one could predict it, Arnus asked if the events on Ando Prime have been connected to Havoc's defection. Meteor asked back if it was true that Havoc squad was left to die, only for Voralla to point out that the operation on Ando Prime were classified and told Meteor to ignore Arnus' question. The committee then dismissed Meteor and Jorgan.
Meteor and Jorgan reported to General Garza in her office in the Senate Tower. She congratulated them on their success against the Black Sun and obtaining a prototype blaster for analysis, but was disappointed with how the meeting with the Senate went. Meteor was adamant that the Senate needed to know the truth. Garza chastised Meteor that such an outcome wouldn't make her job any easier, pointing out that desertion of SpecForce top operators should be a much larger concern to Meteor, but switched to discussing their next assignment.
