The Emperor is not as forgiving as I am."- Jerjerrod and Vader discuss the Emperor's visitShortly before the battle of Endor, The Emperor had become displeased with the slow progression of the Death Star project, and he sent his apprentice, Vader, to order Jerjerrod to speed up the construction. Upon the Sith Lord's arrival aboard the incomplete Death Star, Jerjerrod made his way to the hangar where Vader's shuttle had landed, waiting patiently at the bottom of the shuttle's ramp for Vader to disembark. Vader was quick to inform Jerjerrod of the Emperor's displeasure with the lack of progress in the battlestation's construction, brushing aside the Moff's concerns that the project was an impossible, under-crewed effort. When Vader revealed that the Emperor was en route to personally oversee the final stage of construction, Jerjerrod announced that his men would increase their work twofold. Although Jerjerrod found conversations with Vader to have a certain quality of motivation, he had no intention of finding out if Vader was speaking the truth when the Sith Lord announced that he was more forgiving than the Emperor.
