Summary

	Kintan was the homeworld of the Nikto. After a supernova explosion near the system and the planet was bombarded by the radiation, evolution of the Nikto divided into five subspecies. Kintan was located within the Si'Klaata Cluster. A cult devoted to the exploded star arose, and exerted a totalitarian hold on Nikto society until the Hutt Empire discovered Kintan and destroyed the cult's stronghold in an orbital bombardment. The Nikto rallied to the Hutts under the Treaty of Vontor and the destinies of the two species became intertwined ever since.
