Why do I always get the pupils who think they're the exceptions to the rule?" - Silvarte to Jedi Master YolloSilvarte was a male human Jedi Master who served the Jedi Order during the Cold War.Following the Great Galactic War and the resurgence of the Sith Empire, Master Silvarte returned to the ancestral Jedi homeworld Tython with the rest of the Order and helped rebuild the Order, residing at the Temple there. Selecting the young Moracen as his Padawan, Master Silvarte and fellow Master Yollo became suspicious of their students, believing that both Padawans Moracen and Spanios had begun a romantic relationship. To get an idea of the situation's severity, Master Silvarte sent two Padawans to discover whether the two apprentices were indeed romantically involved.Silvarte was notorious for labeling Padawans with a particularly lumbering lightsaber stance as devotees of the "Form of the Guid." At least one of these Padawans - who later became a Jedi Knight - took this mild insult to heart and developed several lightsaber techniques while inspired by the study and observation of Guids, lumbering creatures, native to the planet.
