  Theraguin Hey there. Always good to see another brave soul - there aren't many of us left. I'm Captain Theraguin - last officer on the job here since the patrols stopped. Welcome to Black Sun territory. Meteor Are you saying there's no security down here? Theraguin You kidding me? My commander gave up on this sector a long time ago. I shouldn't even be here. The locals only venture out of their apartments when they have to scrounge for supplies. Now with no security forces, what future do they have? And Black Sun has a new game. Call it "Boom." Voidhound Uh-oh. Theraguin Black Sun steals Republic supply crates, takes the supplies out, then rigs the crates with explosives. Then they set the trapped crates in the street; make bets on how long before some fool tries to open them. Hero of Tython Why would anyone do a thing like that? Theraguin I don't know. You want to be charitable, assume Black Sun doesn't think straight. Meteor Only cowards attack civilian targets. Theraguin Yeah. It's one thing when the gangs shoot at us - but killing innocents for fun? Barsen'thor Hasn't someone tried to do something? Theraguin The locals don't know what's going on. And like I said before, security can't patrol here anymore. Barsen'thor It takes a dark soul to do such a thing. Theraguin Didn't believe it until I saw it with my own eyes - this mousy little woman - blown to pieces. I try to defuse the crates myself - the mechanics are simple, but Black Sun's everywhere. Nearly killed me last time. Hero of Tython We can handle Black Sun. We want to make things right. Theraguin That's- thank you. That's just what I needed to hear. Always good to see another brave soul--there aren't many of us left." - Captain Theraguin to Republic operatives Theraguin was a human male who lived on Coruscant Coruscant Planet and served as an officer with the Coruscant Security Force Coruscant Security Force Organization Planetary and Sector . He achieved the rank of captain, and during the Cold War The Cold War Event Cold War (3653BBY - 3642BBY) , Theraguin worked in the Black Sun territory of Coruscant. After the Sacking of Coruscant Sacking of Coruscant Event Great Galactic War (3681BBY - 3653BBY) , the CSF struggled to maintain order, however, large areas of the planet were lost to gangs who consolidated into the Black Sun Black Sun Organization Galaxy-Wide Organizations criminal syndicate. Claiming sectors as their own, mostly in Coruscant's lower levels, Black Sun sought to impose its own order. The CSF, having sustained casualties both during the Sacking and the years after, all but abandoned the area as they drew back to police vital government and commerce districts. Theraguin was one of the few officers who stayed behind to help as best as he could, although CSF could do little more than build blockades and keep the street battles contained to certain areas. Around 3643 BBY, Black Sun developed a new way of terrorizing the locals and refugees. Its members stole crates of Republic supplies and then placed them in public areas, but not before rigging them with explosives. When refugees went to open them, the crates exploded and killed all in the immediate area. Theraguin did not originally believe the stories about the "game" until he witnessed a woman blown to pieces by one of the explosive crates. He tried to defuse the crates, but there was little he could do without being killed himself by Black Sun thugs. At that time a team of Republic operatives Republic Operatives Organization Temporary Unions offered to defuse the explosives. Theraguin accepted the offer, and the operatives proceeded Boom Event Cold War (3653BBY - 3642BBY) to disarm the rigged crates, in the process also killing the Black Sun thugs who were behind the terror. Theraguin offered them a reward upon return, but was refused. He was pleasantly surprised to find someone not out to make a profit.
