Summary
| This event took place shortly before the end of the Cold War on the planet Taris.Having determined that the missing patrols were kidnapped by scavengers, the Havoc Squad traveled to the Sinking City region, where Fallenspire Stronghold was located, to search for evidence of the missing Republic soldiers.Along with a group of Republic operatives, Meteor and Jorgan stormed the citadel and fought their way through its vast halls until they reached the underground level. From there, two members of the Havoc Squad set off alone.In the sublevel, Havoc duo fought many scavengers until the found shielded containment cells. After killing several of the scavengers guarding them, Havoc saw Republic soldiers in every cell behind the energy field. One of the soldiers shouted that a huge alien was guarding the area, and that's when a massive Kintan Strider appeared and ran towards the duo. Having been warned in advance, Meteor and Jorgan easily killed the creature and deactivated the force fields before returning to the soldier who warned them.One of the prisoners, Ensign Tane - the one who previously warned the Havocs about the Kintan Strider's attack - said that he overheard the scavengers talking about the Imperials on Taris and that the prisoners were to be sent to someone called "Needles" to a secret Imperial base in the Tularan Marsh region. When Sergeant Dorne arrived with her squad and took care of the former prisoners, Meteor and Jorgan, convinced that Needles was at the base with the Imperials, went to the Tularan Marsh to pay a visit to the Imperials. | ||
