Summary
| This event took place shortly before the end of the Cold War on the planet Taris.Using the information the Havoc Squad gathered on Coruscant, their hunt for the Havoc traitors led them to the world of Taris. Once a pinnacle of Republic civilization, Taris was reduced to nothing but swamps and ruins after a Sith attack several centuries ago. It was unclear what activities the Havoc traitors were engaged on planet, but Meteor's orders were to stop them at all costs.After they landed on Taris, Meteor and Jorgan contacted General Garza via holo. General Garza ordered them to speak with the local base commander, Colonel Gaff, to find out what resources or information he could offer for the mission. The Havoc Squad went to the SAR headquarters at the Olaris Reclamation Base.Upon meeting with the colonel, he blatantly disregarded Garza's orders, partly due to the fact that their mission was top secret, claiming that nothing unusual happened under his watch. Suddenly, one of his subordinates, Sergeant Elara Dorne, spoke up, stating that patrol teams had gone missing. When Gaff attempted to shoot her down for speaking out of turn, she cited regulations that made Garza's orders a priority. Gaff dismissed her claims, insisting that they may have fallen prey to wildlife. As the colonel excused himself, Dorne apologized for Gaff's behavior, stating that it wasn't the first time he'd defied direct orders.Dorne provided Meteor with the last known patrol locations, and the Havoc Squad set out to investigate. | ||
