We were taking pollution readings in the ruins. But when we found those medical holocrons, we decided to get them back right away.

On the way home, Tykan lures us into a trapfall, ignites the pollution in the swamp and stands there watching us burn!

Summary

	Defte was a Zabrak male who lived during the Cold War. During the Republic's initiative to resettle the planet Taris, Defte served as an assistant in the Republic Expeditionary Force. He, along with many of his colleagues and Jedi Master Cin Tykan, went on an expedition to Taris wilderness. When Tykan succumbed to the Dark Plague and turned on the expedition, Defte became trapped under a fallen support beam, and he was unable to move until a Jedi Consular arrived and lifted the beam, saving Defte from certain death. Eventually, Defte and several other survivors returned to the Expeditionary Force headquarters at the Olaris spaceport. Read more...
