Summary
| This event took place during the Taris Resettlement Initiative on the planet Taris.The Death's Claw pirates had overrun the old Reclamation Base in the Brell Sediment on the planet Taris. The Republic command, unaware that the base had been captured, ordered Rana Squadron to destroy the base and all the classified intel that was stored there. But the pirates shot down squadron's fighters and Captain Reldar Kandik was the only survivor. Wounded, he had asked a group of Republic operatives to break into Central Command, recover the Republic datalogs and destroy the Republic control droid before the pirates manage to sell the Republic's reclamation strategy to the Empire. Kandik reported that in order to gain access to a force-field secured room where the Republic datalogs had been kept the operatives have to destroy the power couplings.The operatives traveled to the base and, fighting against well-organized and well-armed pirates, destroyed three power couplings, which resulted in the switching of power to the base's critical systems to a backup power generator. Destroying the generator, the operatives gained access to the Central Command's mainframe and obtained the datalogs, erasing the database completely after that. Immediately after this, the operatives destroyed the Republic control droid that stored a copy of all sensitive data.The operatives contacted Captain Kandik and reported success. Kandik thanked them and declared them honorary members of Rana Squadron, promising that he would inform the families of his fallen squadmates that their final mission was completed. | ||
